Lahop

This is one of the more technical positions, and although training is offered, a good working knowledge of sound systems and their functions is a must. We offer quality sound equipment and a fabulous recording system using 'Pro Tools 7.3'. We also use a digital system for our c.d. playing, teachings, and web-streaming. At this time we are not 24 hours a day, so to “stand in the gap” we play CD’s when there is not live worship.  There are many options and ways to worship the Lord. Come worship Him with your technological skills.

Another skill for a talented sound technician is sound board mapping. Our hope is to map every team that is formed in the LAHOP, so that our playing and recording sound is consistent.  Once or twice during the life of the team, a sound technician will need to adjust the monitors and mains until the optimal sound is achieved and then map the board, so that future technicians will know each team’s preference. (Training is offered although a good working knowledge of sound basics is required.) The sound tech will need to be able to sit in the vicinity of the worship team to make minor adjustments to sound throughout the prayer time.
