At LaHOP worship and Intercession are our primary ministries. We seek to transform our region and others we intercede for through worship & prayer. It is our central purpose to know our Lord Jesus and His will through worship and adoration and then to pray His will for those He directs us to cover in prayer "that the earth may be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord".

The LaHOP Community seeks "To know Him and to Make Him known" through various forms of worship and prayer. It is our joy to sit before the face of our Dear Heavenly Father in adoration as well as to intercede with a fiery devotion in prayer for the nations and our surrounding region. We are known as 'Intercessory Missionaries'.

The primary way in which we worship and pray is with the Harp-n-Bowl Model. It is a new way of interpreting the liturgy of heaven taken from Rev. Chapter 5 verse 8. - the harp represents the worship and the golden bowls of incense represents the prayers of the saints. It is a type of marriage of worship and prayer that increases our experience of long term prayer and makes it enjoyable. You can pray for hours this way and not get tired.

Revelation 5:7-10
"Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying: '

You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open it's seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and tribe and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth."

Watches

Meditation

This prayer format is designed to provide an anointed atmosphere for individuals to better receive from God during meditation, study, and prayer. The worship songs and music style are devotional in focus.

Bridal Intimacy

This prayer format is designed to be intimately focused upon Jesus, through adoration, prophetic worship, and bridal intimacy, so that we may sit at the feet of Jesus as Mary of Bethany did.

Apostolic/Prophetic Intercession

The goal for this prayer format is to receive through prophetic revelation the intercession themes from the Holy Spirit. The prayers of the Apostles in Scripture are used as guidelines for outward intercession to the nations of the world. This revelation marries the apostolic and the prophetic to accomplish God's work in the world.

Worship with the Word

This prayer format is designed as a way to ingest scripture and learn theology as a sort of "singing seminary". The passages are usually sung through in large portions, instead of focusing on a theme as in 'Apostolic/Prophetic Intercession' or 'Bridal Intimacy'. The worship teams will discover new passages that they will enjoy singing many times in the future.

Healing Room Watch

This watch is a time of intercession and soaking prayer for those attending the healing room for their specific needs. The worship is comfort, healing, and deliverance focused.

Silent Watch

Complete silence is observed throughout the House of Prayer to encourage listening to the "still, small voice" of the Lord that we may "be still and know that He is God".

Teaching Times

(Occasional classes, community trainings, and teachings will be offered in the House of Prayer. Deliverance teaching will be offered by appointment as well.)

Watchmen

During these times the Prayer Room is staffed and private study and intercession are offered but there are no "live musicians" to lead in worship.

Artist Watch

This watch gives freedom of expression in dance, art, poetry and various other forms of artistry.

* It is our desire to run a house of prayer with 24 hour live watches in the form of the Tabernacle of David. Until such time as the Lord fills the house we will use Cd’s to “stand in the gap.”
